Armed robber at-large

JACKSONVILLE, AR – Police are looking for the man who held up a convenience store early Sunday morning. The armed robber struck just after 2:00am.

Jacksonville Police say the armed suspect entered the Citgo station on Marshall Road brandishing a black handgun and demanding money. The clerk opened the register and the suspect grabbed the cash. The robber then demanded cigarettes and ordered the clerk to open the safe.

The clerk told the bandit she could not open the safe and he threatened to shoot her. The clerk was able to quickly run from the store and the suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
