Ending I never said he was innocent. I just pointed out the facts that not everyone that was sent to prison needed to be there. In a case where a guy was tried for rape two times the victim sat on the stand and pointed him out. Guess what. DNA proved he didn't do it. Freed after 18 years. Eye witness is subject to mistake. I'll see if they hunt DNA on the truck. That is the type of evidence I believe.

Many have family and friends that will provide an alibi when needed. I'm with the one that will wait until the trial is over. We'll see what the evidence and witnesses provide. Good luck with the "alibi".

Butch, I never said he was guilty. I suspect there are details that have not been revealed, otherwise the idea of pulling some guy in from several counties away for no reason would open a potential serious lawsuit. I suspect any DNA involved will be the victim's, on a white F-150.

This man just transferred from a business in Sercy to their LR office after the Sercy office closed. He does drive an F150. I know people who work with him!

Right there ender. Everyone that is charged and sent to prison are guilty. Ever here of DNA. Think of the totally innocent it's freed. I bet the people like you in the area said they were guilty to. I'll wait to see what happens.

Its always first time posters who are the most adamant about defending the suspect. The article did not say he owned an F-150, merely that he was driving one. And I really doubt if LRPD just strolled into Searcy and arrested someone at random for this crime. Perhaps the owner of the F-150 can shed a little light on this (if the suspect doesn't own one), or achron can. But something lead them to Searcy. I also agree that the spelling was horrible, "carless" driving in a hit and run?
