Officials at Southern Arkansas University say an arrest has been made in the theft of five rodeo horses last months.

Are you not aware of what they are doing to horses legally now in this country? My cousin has taken in 12 of them due to the economic downturn and to keep them from being glue and pet food! Sounds like atleast one went through Lonoke county.

There is no excuses for what this girl has done... she is a stupid girl that couldnt take rejection from a guy and couldnt handle the heat of competition... shes pathetic. So pathetic that she had to kidnap horses, make them suffer, and kill one of them.. if she can do this to animals, think of what she couldve done to a human being.. she needs to be hanged for what she has done. the same for her mother and mothers boyfriend.. psychos.

I am still trying to understand why she took them. Is there anyone who knows the motive behind this horrible thing? Did she rodeo in competition against them? Was it a jealous act? Did she even know the kids who owned the horses? We can't understand why. Why! Why! Why, do this to these poor animals. Don't understand this kind of cruelty in such a young woman..sad!

I agree with using the old way of dealing with horse thieves. GET A ROPE! But I think they should drag them for a good long while behind a horse first before they actually hang them.
