PINE BLUFF, AR - Police have made an arrest in connection to the early morning homicide of a Pine Bluff man.
Arrested is 21-year-old Sam Mosby. Police say Mosby has been charged with probable cause for capital murder while they await for formal charges from the prosecuting attorney. Police say they have recovered the gun used to kill 21-year-old Devan Ward.
Police originally responded to a car parked in the middle of the street at the 100 block of West 26th Ave. There they found 21-year-old Devan Ward of Pine Bluff, shot in the upper body. Ward was unresponsive and not breathing and later declared dead at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Police say the car Ward was found in was stolen out of Little Rock.
No motive for the shooting death has been established.
