abbysmomma; Again, I am sorry for your loss. I've read the other story, and it appears as though your brother wasn't doing anything wrong, other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I understand you being in a state of shock; look to our Lord for comfort; best place to find it during such a difficult time. ArkansasYankee.... He was the wrong place wrong time. He was not the intended Target. No one knows why he was out at that time. We will never know how it happened we just know the shooters side and i dont believe it one bit. I'm Sry if I jumped on you for no reason but I'm in a state of shock. We have tries to set these people straight that he was NOT homeless but they don't see it that way since he didn't have a physical address. The person is in custody who did this and that's all that matters to me

abbysmomma; we aren't meaning to show disrespect; most of us have sympathy for you and your family. But these news items provide a forum to post comments, and people are going to do that. I apologize if I've said anything to hurt your feelings; but we, the public, still do not know all the details; we don't know what he was doing with this creep that killed him at 2 in the morning; we don't know why he was out at 2 in the morning, when most folk are asleep or at work; and we don't know who the truck belongs to, or where it came from; and we definately don't know if it was "senseless"; could have been a drug deal gone bad, could have been a fight, started by who knows; there are a number of things we, the public would like answers to, in order to better understand the reasons behind your brother's murder. And the newspeople are the ones calling him "homeless", not those of us that post. I hope he was a Christian, Saved in the Blood, and not doing anything that would cause his Maker to not open the Gate for him.

Some of you really need to know the meaning of respect.. My brother was not homeless he had many places he could go and stay he just choose not too. There are so many people affected by the tragedy not just my family but the persons family who did this. The reason why he was murdered was sinceless in every way

Yes, more whites get freebies from the government; after all, we are plus or minus 75 percent of the population. However; while getting my degree at PTC, I did some research, using Federal government data for a speech; I found that although white's make up more than 70 percent of the population, the fact of the matter is, 70 percent of minorities are on programs such as food stamps, welfare, and HUD, with about 30 percent of whites in the same programs. Yes, there are people of all races that sometimes deserve and need these programs. But there are also people of all races that abuse the programs. I knew a white female in Atlanta; a co worker got her pregnant. I told her he wasn't going to stick around to take care of the baby, and she told me she knew that; but she didn't care; it meant her HUD, welfare, and food stamps were going to go up. So the problem is not really race; it's the lazy trash that just don't care. As far as the young man's demise at the hands of some trash, I wish I knew all the facts. Out at 2 in the am? And I put blacks that kill other blacks because of their gang affiliations or drug deals gone bad in the same catagory as white trash that make and distribute meth - give 'em all the joy juice! golfdude2; I can't tell if I voted for you or not; you can't see that part while posting; but after I post, you'll get a vote also!

The guy you are all talking about WAS NOT HOMELESS!! he just hadnt been home in a while. He has freinds and family who love him. His name was William, so lets stop calling him the homless man, nevertheless he didnt deserve this,. he was 5 feet 4 inches, a little guy. He never hurt anyone!!
