LITTLE ROCK, AR -- An artist looking to preserve a part of the country's history is showing off her work in Little Rock.

Wendy Maruyama's exhibition "Executive Order 9066" combines a couple of her projects inspired by her Japanese ancestry and the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.

The exhibit, on display at the Arkansas Arts Center, includes sculptures and historic artifacts as well as replications of ID tags that internees were forced to wear.
