Asphyxiation and drugs led to Bathtub Death

The State Medical Examiner has concluded 24-year-old Dexter Williams of Mountain Pine died from asphyxiation and a combination of drugs and Amphetamines.
MAUMELLE, Ark. - The State Medical Examiner has concluded 24-year-old Dexter Williams of Mountain Pine died from asphyxiation and a combination of Methamphetamines and Amphetamines.

September 5th, a Maumelle homeowner discovered Williams body in a Jacuzzi bathtub with a dog chain around his neck.

In a statement released Thursday Maumelle Police said there was no finding of strangulation listed on the cause of death report.

Once the police investigation is completed, the Maumelle Police Department will turn over the investigative file to the Pulaski County Prosecutor who will determine what, if any, charges will be filed. This remains an open investigation.
