AUSTIN, AR – An Austin couple was arrested Monday after being visited by Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office investigators looking for a wanted person and illegal drug activity.

Investigators made the arrests at 109 W. White Street. According to the report, they found numerous items of drug paraphernalia used for marijuana and methamphetamine.

Arrested is 31-year-old Kristina Curtis and 32-year-old Michael Ratican. Curtis was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, Ratican had 5 outstanding arrest warrants.

First of all, your not arrested for drug paraphernalia unless the paraphernalia has some type of residue from marijuana, methamphetamine, or cocaine

they legally sell drug paraphernalia in this state but throw you in jail for having it..Must be a slow news day if you're reporting people busted for bongs and pipes..
