TEXARKANA, Ark. (AP & KLRT) — Authorities in Texarkana are investigating after a man was stabbed to death at an apartment complex.
Police spokeswoman Kristi Mitchell says 26-year-old Lane Denney suffered multiple stab wounds. The Texarkana Gazette reports the stabbing happened Sunday at the Beacon Point Apartments.
Police say 20-year-old Simone Miller was arrested on suspicion of tampering with evidence and fleeing, but authorities wouldn't say whether she was a suspect in Denney's death.
Authorities say the stabbing happened during an altercation that involved a group of people. Denney's body was sent to the state crime lab in Little Rock for an autopsy.
