MOUNTAIN HOME, AR – A Mountain Home couple has been arrested on child abuse charges after the child they were babysitting was allegedly hit with a belt and hot sauce poured in its mouth.

33-year-old Lynn White and 30-year-old Jessica White were arrested Wednesday afternoon. According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, the Whites were babysitting a 3-year-old while his father was out of town. On December 8th, the boy was taken to the hospital. While there, workers found evidence that the child had been abused.

The sheriff’s office says that Lynn admitted to hitting the child with a belt. Investigators also say that Jessica was present when the child was being hit with the belt. They also believe that one or both of the Whites poured hot sauce into the child’s mouth to punish him.

Lynn White is charged with 2nd degree battery and his bond was set at $15,000. Jessica White is charged with permitting child abuse, her bond was set at $5,000.

for those that dont believe this. it is my ex-wife and yes you can bet its true and more then likely much worse then even the media knows much less the law. she has 2 older girls that were already taken from her for abuse.

what kind of discipline is hot sauce???? Sick fks should have hot sauce poured in their eyes and the belt tightly wrapped around their necks. We should have ablsolutely 0 tolerance for child abusers..

thats why you do an extensive background check on everyone, and who in their right mind would allow him to watch a child period, look at his picture he looks crazy

>yeppers :What do you think,the sheriff's dept.,and hospital staff,wouldn't recognize the blistering effects of hot sauce,in the mouth of a three year old?I guess you're the expert?What do you think,Einstein,they should be scolded,told to see a counselor,and sent to bed,with no dinner?O M G,it was a 3 year old.How would you feel,if it were your child?I used to live there,and,most likely know their family.None of the White's I know,would be too pleased by this!All I can say,they best be glad it wasn't my child!!!Any crime against a child,any child,the ones who committed the crime,should receive the maximum sentence allowed by law ! that IS how I feel!!!

IF THIS STORY IS 100% COORECT. I PRAY TO GOD THESE PEOPLE DON'T HAVE ANY CHILDREN OF THEIR OWN. THE FATHER THAT LEFT HIS CHILD WITH THEM WILL HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE FACT THAT HE LEFT HIS BABY IN A PLACE LIKE THIS. YOU CAN ALSO BET MONEY THESE TWO PEOPLE WERE PUNISHED IN LIKE THIS WHEN THEY WERE CHILDREN. IF NOT THEN THEY ARE JUST NOT HUMAN.

The hospital did the right thing by calling the police for suspected abuse. Why do reporters/media make up crap just to get stupid reactions like TCL60 and morrisd5's comments. There is NO proof yet. Why make up crap just to have something to say.
