Baseball cards worth millions

On the same day as Major League's All Star Game, two cousins find century old baseball cards in their grandfather's attic estimated at millions of dollars.
For a Toledo, Ohio family, it’s perfect timing. On the same day as Major League's All Star Game, two cousins find century old baseball cards in their grandfather's attic estimated at millions of dollars.

The cards include Hall of Famers Ty Cobb, Cy Young, and Honus Wagner. Local baseball card enthusiasts say it's one of the biggest, most exciting finds in the history of sports card collecting. Matthew Otts at Hobbytown USA in Little Rock says baseball card collecting is still as popular as ever, and cards worth major money are not as uncommon as you may think. "That dollar amount is uncommon, but valuable cards being found in an estate sale, or grandpa's attic, or just handed down generation to generation is very very common."

Otts says if you happen to find an old stash of baseball cards make sure to have it appraised. Hobbytown USA has a Mickey Mantel card in the store worth $1,500.
