Basketball players' property stolen during game

Ten smartphones and more than $500 is stolen from Monticello High School basketball players from a Mills High School locker room during Tuesday night's basketball game.

If DHS was done away with and you could pick your child up and thump the daylights out of him like or parents could this would stop. There is a line between punishment and abuse. I think DHS has forgotten that.

"investigators say an iPhone App isn't enough evidence to press charges just yet." Why not? The app lead them to the 12-13 year olds. It wasn't their phones. They were in possession of stolen property. Sounds like evidence enough to me.

These kids will grow up to do bigger and worse crimes. If it isnt handled properly at this stage, they will become useless members of society. If they get a slap on the wrist for things like this, they will go thru life thinking "i wont get into much trouble for this, so its worth it to me to di it over and over again."
