Bauxite Man Stabbed to Death, Stepson Arrested

A Bauxite man has been stabbed to death and his stepson arrested in the killing.

The Saline County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) says Joseph Gonsalves, 48, died in the Saturday night attack that happened inside his home on North Detonti Road shortly after 8:00.

He was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The SCSO says the stabbing followed a disturbance that also involved Gonsalves' wife.

Jonathan Albertsen, 23, was arrested at the scene. He is charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond.
