Benton Police Arrest Burglary Suspects

BENTON, AR – Benton Police arrested a man and a woman over the weekend during a suspected burglary in progress.

Officers on patrol came upon the residence, located on the 2100 block of Highway 5 North, around 2:46pm on Saturday and arrested Amanda Davis, 36. On Sunday, police arrested Hayden Hutchens, 41, who they say fled the scene when Davis was taken into custody.

Davis and Hutchens were both charged with residential burglary, theft of property, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Hutchens is a parolee out of the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections, according to police.
