Benton Police search for pharmacy burglary suspects

BENTON, AR – Officials from the Benton Police Department are searching for suspects involved in a pharmacy burglary.

According to reports, around 6:25 am on April 18, officers responded to the Westside Pharmacy located 620 W. South Street after receiving a call about a burglary. A witness reported hearing the sound of glass breaking, and saw a black Jeep pulling away from the front of the business.

Upon investigation, police discovered that the suspects broke in through the front glass of the pharmacy and stole an undetermined amount of medicine. Police say a male suspect was driving the vehicle while another suspect broke in and took the medicine.
