BENTON, AR – Benton residents will be able to take debris from the Christmas Day Storm to a burn site located behind the new airport off of Reynolds Road.

Mayor Mattingly says the burn site will be opened to the public Monday through Saturday from 7am to 4pm.

Anyone who can haul storm debris from their property to the burn site is asked to do so. Those who can not are asked to move their debris curbside for pick-up.

To report debris to be picked up which has been located at curbside, you may contact the City of Benton Street Department at 776-5990 or City Hall at 776-5900. If your debris is located in the utility right of way, you should contact Benton Public Utilities at 776-5930 for directions on how to proceed.

Anyone who has suffered damage to their residence, or other personal property, should contact the Saline County Office of Emergency Management at 303-5649 to report the nature of the damage.
