LITTLE ROCK, AR - A robbery suspect pulled a gun and fired in the air after being confronted by a convenience store clerk, according to police.
Police were called to Sky Road Gas on W. 65th Street Monday night around 8:45 in reference to a robbery. The store clerks told police a man walked out of the store without paying for items he had taken.
When one of the clerks confronted the man outside, the clerk said the man pulled a black semi-auto handgun from his waistband and fired a shot in the air.
The suspect is described as being 20-30 years of age, 5'10'' tall, 160 lbs. and clean shaven. He was wearing a green jacket with a design on the back, with a black hoodie under it and a ball cap.
Police are investigating the incident but no arrests have been made.
