WASHINGTON (AP) — Former President Bill Clinton says Mitt Romney's financial record is a matter of legitimate campaign scrutiny because he's been selling himself as a fix-it man on the economy.

Clinton tells NBC's "Today" show Romney's hesitation to release all of his tax returns "struck me as a little odd." Romney has released a full tax filing only for 2010.

Clinton says Romney's record as the head of private equity firm Bain Capital is fair game and says taking a microscopic look at Romney's finances is "just as relevant as going over my record as governor when I ran for president."

He says voters "ought to make up their own mind" whether they support someone who apparently sought to minimize his federal tax liability by parking large sums of money overseas.

Bill is perplexed? I wonder if he is still perplexed as to why the dry cleaner couldn't get the stain out? Hey bat102; I'll bet you like the bumper sticker that says - I'll keep my guns, my money, and my freedom; you keep the "change"! And all of you fellow vets out there; I don't care for draft dodgers either! They stink up America something awful. Which president gave those in Canada amnesty? Wasn't he a jackass, er, I mean Democrat?

Parking money overseas huh? Does he mean like Nancy "we gotta pass the bill to see whats in it" Pelosi, and the 1-5 million she made by investing and outsourcing jobs in Asia? Good grief.

Politics suck, they all tell people what they want to hear. Do not read to much into what any of them say, they will lie to suit their own ends. It would be much better if both parties would work together and find a fix for the screwed up economy we are in. Would be much better than saying look what I did, which is pure crap. Work together and say look what what we Americans did.

I have met Bill in person he is very nice and a great speaker, however he may not be for Obama as much as we think he is keep that in mind. I think he HAS to do and say things for Obama to keep things nice and calm in the home. Also should not we all be perlexed that Tim Geithner who is a tax evader was voted in as the Treasury Secretary by Obama???

So, am I supposed to be more worried about how Romney spends his personal money or how Osama wastes my money?
