BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Police in Blytheville say a city worker is accused of selling drugs out of his city-owned vehicle.

A Monday court appearance is set for 32-year-old Brian Eugene Robinson of Blytheville. He's charged with possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute methamphetamine, marijuana and hydrocodone. Robinson also faces two gun charges.

The Blytheville Courier News reports that Mayor James Sanders got a tip Wednesday that Robinson was allegedly selling drugs from a city recycling truck.

Sanders told police, who found that there was also an active warrant for Robinson. Police allege that when searching Robinson they found a loaded .25-caliber pistol, 86 hydrocodone pills, 5.9 grams of meth, 13.4 grams of marijuana and $4,000 in cash.

It was unclear whether Sanders has an attorney.

Thank you; thought that was the meaning, that's why I wrote "not allowed to own one".

Mikerthebiker; don't know, but probably "possession of a firearm by certain persons", whatever that means ( not allowed to own one? ), and one charge for having one with drugs at the same time.

Why 2 gun charges if he only had 1 .25?

So the city of Blytheville had a city worker that had a city warrant out for his arrest and they did not know how to contact/apprehend this individual? The incompetence of our government knows no end.
