The part missed on this story is the {382} people that came out to look for Dawna, without them she may have not been found! Garland county has a good horse search team, but overall LE is not trained in SAR.they don't and won't ask trained people the right questions, and often pick the wrong people to search. Chances are a trained SAR team of 20 people could have found this person in 3 to 4 days, it took 382 people 30 mins. SAR needs to change. When people hear my name it's [Duck and Cover] I'm known for my ideas on this subject! But facts are they will not change and the best SAR people will not be called and things will go on as they have for years.
