I also know from personal experience about the shuffling about that happens inLittle Rock at certain Psychiatric Centers here. It is almost impossible to get help. I have said it many times people are going to die because of the way they are treated when seeking help. It takes much courage to even reach out for help to begin with much less being refused help, or not seeing the need some people have. It really needs to be looked into. A lot of money is going into Art Work and fancy furniture at the Psychiatric Research Institute at UAMS. It seems to be Governor Beebe's wife Ginger's little pet project. I'm not saying that is where he went for hhelp I'm just saying there needs to be more help and less Art work going on. Trying to get help there would be laughable if it weren't for the fact people are literally dieing trying to getdecent help with Mental Health issues in thus town. Bridge way is another joke. Arkansas State Hospital is really the only place that offers help butareso overcrowed they don't have the beds or resources to do more. And under go much scrutiny in the media. How about Fox news looks into our Mental Health Care in this city. And perhaps check into Mrs Beebe's personal interest in PRI at UAMS. Alot of money being spent there..... Just saying...

#kojafoffer, I am so sorry. I didn't know he was missing. I T's pretty sad when you have to report a truck stolen to help find a missing person. This story is the first I have heard anything about your poor son'Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family. Forgive for speculating on my post. But even just reading this story as it is, I found myself thinking something is very strange here. I hope you all can find the answers to those questions. I knew there had to be more to this story than I read. I live very close to Zoo and Fair Park,I will think of him and pray for him whenever I go that way now.I am so sorry for your loss. HDawg-he did NOT steal the truck. It was reported stolen because the police snubbed their nose at a missing person's report. There is sooooooo much evidence that they effed this up it is appauling. Broken privacy laws and i have the email to prove it, refusal to do their job, everyone KNOWS that he would not do this, 2 people who's story changed as soon as the "police got involved" (a laughable thing to even say), his password on facebook was changed yesterday morning. Who did that? He was DEAD already according to your illustrious police crew. Do NOT get me, the furiousely angry mother of a son that was shuffled about and refused the help he was BEGGING for.

I am his son's mother. I can assure everyone that the police department, state and local have royally screwed this one up from day one when I tried to report him missing on Saturday and they NEVER TOOK THE REPORT. The info on him found with a leafblower that is in the story was told to the PRESS before it was told to the family, I am the one that recieved the email with the details from channel 7 while on the phone with my son this morning. I made him hang up and call the PD to find out why:1 they KNEW he was reported as stealing this truck just to force them to look for them, 2. They had his picture and KNEW he was the one in the truck when they found him because they called my son last night to tell them they found his body, 3 we were told no signs of suicide or foul play.....there is soooo much to this it is SCANDELOUS. I AM DEMANDING ANSWERS AND I WILL GET THEM IF I HAVE TO CALL THE FBI. No one has contacted ME and I was the one reporting him missing on saturday and the state police have my phone numbers.

God Bless that poor soul and his family. I can't help but wonder why, if the vehicle was stoln in Geers Ferry,why did he come to Little Rock to end his life? I would like to know what his family thinks. Was he perhaps a Veteran who came to the VA or perhaps tried getting help at one of our local Psychiatric facilities, and got lost in the red tape? What is this man's back story? He no doubt was hurting very bad to take his life in such an awful manner. Very sad story leaving me with many questions.....

Why is this the fault of the police? And why are you guys shocked that they charged for impounding the vehicle? I am in awe. This guy, as sad as it is, made a choice. The police didn't do it and the wrecker service shouldn't be responsible for the loss. Sorry, guys, sounds harsh, but I am reading how pitiful the police are, and....well, don't sound to me as if the police were the ones that were pitiful.

not only is our justice system a joke thet towed the truck and charged a 160 dollar fee plus holding fee and told my parents if the registration is missing they cant have the truck till they get another one and said if he didnt kill himself they would wave fees.....SICKOS PURE EVIL

LOST 4 WORDS: I recieved a e-mail early this morning from a family member, informing me and thanking me for my suggestions. If this was the first missing person from this area it would be differant, but Gordon isn't/wasn't the first to go missing up here under strange circumstances and nothing seems to be done about it. I'm thinking we need to change the way LE looks at MISSING PERSONs REPORTS.

I can only say, there are too many holes in the PD theroy on this one. How about the large sum of money he had on him to buy a transmission. Was the money or the transmission recovered in the back of the truck?? Did the PD ping his phone when he was reported missing 10 days ago?? Or when the truck was reported stolen?? OH WAIT I GOT IT, they want us to believe that he withdraws a large sum of money and tells everybody he's going to buy a transmission, he then borrows a truck knowing (or chancing)it would have a gas powered leaf blower in it so he could drive all the way to Little Rock and kill himself..... NOPE DON'T BELIEVE.
