Body found in Ouachita National Forest identified

BENTON, AR - Authorities have identified the body of a woman whose body was found in the Ouachita National Forest Sunday.

Lt. Courtney with the Saline County Sheriff's Office said the woman has been identified as 29-year-old Jackie Hibbs of Jacksonville.

Saline County Sheriff Bruce Pennington said Monday that the body was found by a civilian at 11 a.m. Sunday.

The cause of death has not been released and the case is still under investigation.

I hope the people who did this are brought to justice soon. Jackie did not deserve this and neither did her family. RIP Jackie.
