Bridge inspections on I-30, I-40 to require lane closure in Little Rock, Carlisle

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Crews performing routine bridge inspections on Interstate 30 and Interstate 40 in Little Rock and Carlisle will require lane closures this week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials.

The Little Rock bridge inspection, located on the Arch Street overpass near Interstate Park, will require the westbound, outside lane to be closed on Wednesday, October 17th. The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

The Carlisle improvements will require the westbound, inside lane to be closed on Wednesday, October 17th and Thursday, October 18th. The lane closure will be in effect each day between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
