The Bryant Babe Ruth All Stars win in the World Series semi-finals Tuesday night beating Monroe Township, NJ 2-1 in Kitsap County, Washington.

The team performing so well at the tournament, one of the players, Alex Shurtleff, broke a record for runs batted in.

Before the team left last week, the boys talked about how excited they are to play on the national level, but had no idea how well they would do.

The Bryant 13-year-olds continue their undefeated streak and will take on winner of the Greenville, NC vs. Tri Valley, CA game Wednesday night at 8pm Central.

Bryant High School Baseball Coach Kirk Bock says the one good thing about the team is the kids don't quit. "When they get down, they don't panic. They just keep playing ball." Coach Bock has his eyes on this team. "As a group, they've done a great job. They've been playing together since they were 6-years-old. They have some good talent and as a group they're just tremendous."

This isn't the first time a Bryant team has made it to the World Series.
"The seniors we have in high school won the World Series 4 years ago. The system we have in place, the BAA all the way to high school has just done a tremendous job. You can't say enough about the Bryant Athletic Association."
