FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Authorities say a Rogers school bus driver who was involved in a multi-vehicle accident in Fayetteville has died.

Police Sgt. Tim Franklin told the Northwest Arkansas Times that 68-year-old Billy Osborne suffered a heart attack Friday night while he was driving a bus and struck six vehicles in front of Fayetteville High School. Osborne was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on Saturday.

Franklin says no students were on the bus when the accident occurred, and only minor injuries to occupants of the other vehicles were reported.

Franklin says Osborne was headed west in front of the school when he had the heart attack.

He says the bus pushed a vehicle in front of him and then continued forward and hit five other vehicles.
