CAW repairing water main break on S. University

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Southbound lanes on University by UALR were shut down for several hours Tuesday due to a water main break.

Central Arkansas Water says a 12-inch water main was broken around 10am by a construction crew on the road. Southbound lanes from the 3400 block of South University to Col. Glenn will be shut down while repairs take place. CAW expects the repairs to be finished after 5pm.

While northbound lanes are still open, CAW asks drivers to find an alternate route on their way home.
