LITTLE ROCK, AR – A car has crashed into a house at the intersection of Brown and Asher. The homeowner tells Fox 16 that the driver of the car crawled out of the wreckage and ran off down Brown Street.

Vanessa Carter, who has lived at the home on 3223 Asher Ave for the last 30 years, was outside when the car crashed into it. She says it is the second time a car has hit her house. Carter’s mother and son were inside at the time, just feet away from where the car came to rest. Both were able to exit the house uninjured.

The condition and whereabouts of the driver is unknown. Police say they have identified him, but have not released his name. They say the owner of the car did loan it to this other person.

The house is significantly damaged. The car hit the garage and is upside down inside of it.

I've heard of being upside down on your house mortgage payments but I've never heard of being upside down in your car in your house. Atleast it should be a significant tax deduction for the owner and probably qualifies for the Huricaine Katrina Relief Fund.
