Car slams into power pole, shuts down intersection

LITTLE ROCK, AR – A car accident took out a power pole and street sign, shutting down an intersection for hours in Little Rock Sunday.

The accident happened at the intersection of Grant and Lee, off University just after 3:00 Sunday afternoon.

According to reports, a car ran into a power pole and downed several lines. The power pole snapped in half and will likely need to be replaced.

Little Rock Police blocked off the intersection so crews could repair the lines.

pat, I caught that too. The pole is split like a stack of toothpicks, and they say it "most likely will have to be replaced". Hell, Ray Charles couldve told ya that.

Maybe Osama can claim the repairs are part of his so called Infrastructure Plan, since he has done very little else in the last 4 years
