WHITE HALL, AR -- Custodial crews in the White Hall School District will spend the next three days disinfecting the buildings to attack mono.
Superintendent Larry Smith tells FOX16 they have a dozen cases of confirmed cases reported throughout the district.
That prompted them to send a letter to parents making them aware of it. They also asked parents to keep students home if they had a fever.
At school, Smith said students have access to hand sanitizers are encouraged to wash their hands often and cough into their sleeves.
Fortunately, students were already scheduled to be out on Friday.
