LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Arkansas has a lot of natural talent. Sunday, kids lined up to be cast for a new feature film at the Lafayette Building in Little Rock. Managers were looking for 6 to 9 year olds.
9-year-old Skyy Blue wants to be an actress.
"I always dreamed about acting," said Blue.
Her mom knew she couldn't let the opportunity pass.
"Skyy is always telling stories and running around the house singing and dancing and making little movies with her IPOD," said Jennifer Blue.
Talent managers say young people, like Skyy, have excellent acting futures.
"A lot of times we say in Arkansas, that can't happen. I am in a small market. But big things come from small markets. And you can be that next big thing," said Scie Ward of Stone Rose Entertainment Group and Major Market Models & Talent.
Planners could not say what film they are casting because that is still top secret.
