I see what you are saying, guess it could have been looked at as some weird form of advertising, but I was just trying to put my contact info down. I guess if they got an insurance check they could pay me lol. I hope they get to the bottom of it for the church though, however if it was done internally for an insurance check the that would just be flat out wrong in my book.

It was a nice gesture on your part Colt; but you "broke" rule #4 for posting. A free cleaning might have negated the insurance check; kind of makes ya wonder who clicked on Report User, doesn't it! jchow; you hit the nail on the head again! So did you daleb! I have to agree with itsjustme also. Punks, or perhaps some church members needing that check for the bank; but I doubt the KKK, or the American Nazi Party were involved. me501; I live on a street that is all white except for one house. An elderly black lady bought it a few years ago. When they first moved in, we used to wave at them when we drove by; but they never waved back, except for a couple of the kids. Still, no one on this street would do anything like that; in fact, we would prevent it if we caught anyone doing something like that to her home. For the most part, we all watch out for each other; that's why the meth heads next door are gone! If you lived next door to me, you could count on me for help anytime you needed it, as well as your other neighbors. That's just the way we are on this street. Peace be with all of you!

Just reminds me what my white neighbor may be thinking.

Something is not right here. Those were very considerate vandals to put most of the graffiti on easily cleanable windows. $7000 in damage? Not hardly, a little paint and a few minutes to fix the wall. Cameras but no evidence? If I were an insurance adjuster I would be very suspicious.

In cases like this, it is rare that someone actually affiliated with the KKK or any other group actually did the damage. Usually it is a bunch of punk ass kids doing it as a prank or thinking it is cool. The KKK normally does not go around spray painting crap on buildings, but there is always a nut job out there that may. I personally think the ass clowns that did this should be prosecuted for it, made to pay the damages and so forth. But I almost guarantee it was a bunch of dead beat punk ass kids with to much time on their hands.

I have been to Arkansas on several occasions with my wife visiting in-laws. They are very nice, tolerable people who raised an angel of a daughter. But, I have found them to be the exception and not the rule. There is little wonder this state is near bottom on the list when it comes to education and economic opportunities; it is full of people with such tiny minds. I know that no place or person is perfect, but goodness sake people! Believe it or not, not all black people are thugs or want to rob you; not all hispanic people are here illegally or want to cut you, and not all white people are inbred, illiterate methbillies who hate because that is how memaw and pepaw did it. There is a big world beyond our individual little ones. Get out and explore it....Or attempt to keep your fear of the 'others' at bay by denigrating them and see how far that gets you. But, know this: The good ole days some of you long far are long gone.

You are right BeesKnees, if it were a white church that level of vandalism would not have received any attention. However, any perceived injustice to a black church is news. I stand by my previous comments and think it is figure out.

Wow, that's quite an accusation there.... It humors me how often white people say "quit playing the race card", yet what do we do on a story about a predominantly black church? Comment that if it was a white church we wouldn't be hearing about it.

From the video it appears to be on the windows, an easy fix. I am not a vandal but if I were going to paint symbols on a building I would do it on the walls. I would guess that someone in the congregation did it. I realize that some of you are thinking why would Dirk say that? Well think about it, publicity, sympathy and an insurance check. The news station call it news and air the story, some liberal are aghast that these poor people are being victimized and send a check and the icing on the cake is an insurance check. The pastor keeps most of the money and hires someone in the congregation to wash the paint off. A nice profit for a few dollars in spray paint and a phone call. I'm sure some local white kids will be arrested and charged.
