City Council takes vote of “no confidence” in police chief

The Pine Bluff City Council held a vote of “no confidence” in Police Chief Brenda Davis-Jones at their meeting Monday night. The resolution failed, alderman were split 4-4.

Its obvious that half of the city council is as ignorant as the chief and mayor. Someone should just wipe Pine Bluff off of the map, we dont need it. What good comes from that town, the papermill and crime stats?

Apparently Mayor Redus (who needs to be booted as well) and 4 alderman are the only people in Jefferson Co. who thinks the police chief is doing a good job.

Pine Bluff - proof that millions in federal grant money and decades of additional governmental programs don't improve things one bit.
