City plans to borrow $4.6 million for new equipment

The Little Rock Board of Directors agreed Tuesday night to borrow $4.6 million to purchase new fire trucks, snow plows, and garbage trucks.

So, they are going to pay 6% interest to save 3% on the purchase price, Redline-sounds to me like Stodola and Moore have a friend in the banking business, and Yes-there was a tax increase for this very thing. Only one question, do these guys use vasoline on the citizens up there when they stick it to everyone.

UHHHH Didn't we just pass a tax for this? Also, are you really saving money if you have to pay interest on a loan????
