Claims Commission awards $1.5M in slaying

The Arkansas Claims Commission has agreed to a $1.5 million award to the family of a 67-year-old man who was shot and killed by a juvenile released from state custody.

The Clark family are very good people. He wanted to just retire peacefully in the neighborhood that was a good one before "zoning" occurred. My family is in the same boat. He was in the Korean war (as an only son). Then worked at Teletype for 33 1/2 years. Paid off his home, loves his neighborhood, but it's a neighborhood zoned for section 8 housing. There goes his dreams down the drain. Living only a few blocks away from the Clarks scares me on a nightly basis. Not much of a reward for old fashioned folks just trying to do the right thing... Survive and be happy.

Good for the ACC. Now if only DHS would fire the idiots responsible for allowing this trash back on the streets, after they were advised otherwise.
