WABBASEKA, AR – Police say one man has been electrocuted and another shocked after working to replace utility poles just outside of Wabbaseka.

According to Major LaFayette Woods with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, two contract workers were attempting to replace utility poles around 10:45 am, when one of the workers was electrocuted while the other was shocked, and suffered minor injuries.

he was killed because he saved the guys life who could not hold the pole so he ran and grabbed pole he has burns on his stomach and forarms none on his hands at all gloves were not the cause of him dieing

"and another is in shock" nice pun there. Contract workers don't always abide by the strict safety rules as one employed with the utitily company itself. My heart goes out to the families and victims
