LITTLE ROCK, AR – A Conway man is wanted by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office after he took money to do roof repairs at a Morgan home, but reportedly failed to do those repairs.
According to the sheriff’s office report, 41-year-old Matthew Ostrander took an insurance check for $7,936 in June of 2011 to fix the roof of a home on Highway 365 North. The homeowners say the repairs were never done. At the time Ostrander was operating under the company name Arkansas Storm Recovery, shortly thereafter changing the name to Arkansas Custom Roofing.
The sheriff’s office says that “Ostrander has been the subject of fraud allegations before and frequently changes his business name to avoid further action.”
Ostrander was believed to be driving a newer Hummer SUV at the time of the incident. There are no vehicles currently registered to him.
If you have any information about the whereabouts of Ostrander, please contact the Pulaski County CRIMESTOPPERS tip line at 340-TIPS.
