Conway PD gets more support after officer's death

LITTLE ROCK, AR-- Students from Saint Joe School in Conway performed "Amazing Grace" Friday for the Conway Police Department,. to help officers cope with the loss of Officer Will McGary.

They also provided a healthy meal for the officers. A spokesperson says since the passing of Officer McGary, the department has received tons of support from all across the country.

McGary was hit a few weeks ago while on patrol and people are still sending well wishes.

"You would think that after a week or so it would wane, but it seems that it has intensified," said spokesperson Latresha Woodruff.

Also this week, the Conway High School caring cats gave $200.
