CONWAY, AR - There's a run on sandbags in Faulkner County. So much so, the demand caused traffic problems earlier today.

There just aren't enough sandbags to go around. Firefighters have given out thousands for free, but every time they run out, the phone rings off the hook.

"We are that far behind and we don't have the bags to deliver anymore right now."

Beyond the phone calls, people are waiting outside of the fire station for the next batch of bags.

Conway resident Evelyn Clements said, "What's going to happen? Will we all flood? We don't know."

Neither do the firefighters. Regardless, judging by the line of cars, people think Faulkner County is ready for whatever Mother Nature brings.

They’re hoping it's something, just not too much.

"I hope we're going to not need these sandbags, that we’ll stay dry," Evelyn says. “Well no, we’ll have some rain. We need the rain bad, really bad."
