WALNUT RIDGE, AR-- Lawrence County search crews look for a missing Walnut Ridge teenager who disappeared last weekend.

Deputies say Sidney Randall hasn't been seen since Saturday. She was with her stepdad, John Cornell.

On Monday, investigators say it appears Cornell committed suicide, leaving them with no answers on Randall's whereabouts.

Thursday, Running Water Creek is where investigators searched.

"They've dove in about 18 feet of water today checking it making sure nothing is in it," said Sheriff Jody Dotson.

The area is near the same body of water where investigators found the truck belonging to Randall's stepfather.

Laverne Dunkin lives near the site where deputies searched.

"She is only a child. You just hate for something like this in a small community to happen. It's terrible," said Dunkin.

The sheriff says they searched the north side of the Running Water bridge. Tomorrow they will search the south sid, in hopes of finding Sidney.

Meanwhile friends hold fundraisers at Don's steakhouse.

"We're all a close knit community. So we try to help the community and others when something like this happens," said family friend Blake Householder.

At the command post, community members provide food for search crews.

"She's missed and loved ya know. I've got a 14-year-old daughter and I can't imagine what it would be like not knowing where he was," said family friend Josh Phillips.

I've been watching this from the start on Facebook. I know some think it is a useless site. I saw it there the first day and we've been sharing every day. This is the first I've seen on it here.

My deepest sympathy to the family of this girl. I will continue to pray for the return of this child. As a mother I cannot begin to know the pain. Just know that if god brought to, it he will bring you through it!
