SPRINGDALE, Ark. (AP) — Dive teams have recovered the body of a man who drowned in Beaver Lake.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office says crews recovered the body of 34-year-old Michael Bonds of Eureka Springs on Saturday night. Witnesses tell police that Bonds jumped into the lake Saturday afternoon and went under the water after complaining of cramping.

Fayetteville television station KHOG reports that dive teams found Bonds' body near the U.S. 412 bridge in Springdale.

Authorities don't suspect alcohol was involved in the drowning.

It's the second drowning in one day on Beaver Lake. A woman drowned Saturday morning while trying to help her sons, who were struggling in the water.

This is horrible. So many people are dying by drowning in Beaver Lake, what is going on? Prayers for comfort and peace to his family and also the family of the woman who drown this weekend.
