The August deaths of Aaron Sweet and Samantha Espy were caused by “accidental overdose due to methadone intoxication” according to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.
LITTLE ROCK, AR – The August deaths of Aaron Sweet and Samantha Espy were caused by “accidental overdose due to methadone intoxication” according to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.

Sweet, 19, and Espy, 24, were found lying in their bed by Sweet’s mother in August, according to the police report. At the time, Searcy Police ruled out homicide or foul play, but were unable to find a cause of death.
