Criminal Justice Group Honors Little Rock Pastor

A pastor is honored for helping stop the violence in Little Rock.
LITTLE ROCK, AR_ A pastor was honored Sunday night for his efforts to stop violence in Little Rock. The National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice honored Rev. Benny Johnson.

Johnson headed up the non-profit "Stop the Violence" for almost 23 years. Police say his efforts have been instrumental in the community.

"Stop the Violence" helps law enforcement reduce crime in Central Arkansas by  getting offenders off the street. The organization also comforts families who have been victimized by crime.
