LITTLE ROCK, AR - A body found in a Sweet Home pond, identified as UALR student Patricia Guardado. It's investigators' last known lead in finding her killer in the past ten days.

"Look at his tactics," said criminal profiler Glenn Owen. "How good he was. Broad daylight. Nobody saw anything. Nobody heard anything. No surveillance cameras picked up anything. He's good."

Owen isn't working this case, has more than 30 years of experience as a criminal investigator. He believes this person has done this before and will do it again.

"The organized killer studies police tactics," said Owen. "He knows the type of evidence they're looking for."

Which is why Owen thinks Guardado's abductor chose this parking lot close to UALR.

"He asks for directions and then boom. Before she knows it she's knocked unconscious."

Perhaps most disturbing, Owen believes Guardado's killer is keeping close.

"He could have very well been at the vigil," said Owen. "Organized offenders will volunteer for searches, they will go to a vigil. They like to be involved and keep up with the investigation."

Owen admits he's been wrong before. He has a track record of about 70%. But when it comes to a case like this, he warns everyone to be cautious.

"once they start killing, i think they'll kill again."

In July, 2011, the Arkansas Crime Information Center reports 545 people missing throughout the state.

In my opinion onoly. This is not the first victim, will not be the last victim. He kows the Sweet Home area, and the UALR area, well. He could even be a class mate of hers at UALR. LE can not give out all of the details. Rape? How she was killed. Onlly the true suspect knows. If yo put all information out there, then he knows what he knows and what you, LE, knows also. WOuld not be a good thing for sure. Praying for the victiom, her family, friends. To heck with the suspect, onmy Prayer lsit. Not a good thing at all. Get him LE, get him good , heavy, hard. Prevent the next victim from being a bvictim.

He may have known the victim. Police have nto stated whether there was a rap involved. Doubtful if it was a female suspect. He has lilved in the Sweet Home area, and knows the UALR area also. Where camera are or are not. But, he left soemthing somewhere for evidence. He has dont this before. He is not as sharp and witty as he thinks he is. Did not list the manner of death either. Then LE don't release all info as onlly the true killer lknows. Could also be a class mate. Just my opinion. Thank you.

Small minds are the ruination of this once Great Nation ! easier to assess blame and condemnation then get involved and be a part of the process. Belittling the efforts of Law Enforcement will not assist in the capture of this heinous criminal.

WHY ARE PEOPLE MAKEING JUDGMENTS ON THE POLICE . THEY DON'T TELL US EVERYTHING THEY KNOW. GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO FIND THE ONE THAT DID THIS. I AM VERY CONNCERNED THAT THIS MAY BE SOME KIND OF SERIAL KILLER THAT HAS MADE LITTLE ROCK ONE OF HIS PIT STOPS. THEY WILL FIND THIS PERSON AND HE WILL PAY FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE.

It was most likely someone she knew somehow who lives in the sweet home area. They need to question every known offender in that area, hopefully they've already done that.

Cratty61, it wasn't meant to be a commentary on his morality, it was a warning to all that this was a professional and underestimating him could be a grave mistake.

There was not a single thing "GOOD" about the fool that did this. Why mention he was good....like you are giving him some kind of credit. This guy doesnt even deserve the air he is breathing.
