LITTLE ROCK, AR - There will be a run-off election for zone 7 of the Little Rock School Board.

14 ballots were mailed overseas to members of the military, who had ten days to get them back to the county clerk.

But the Pulaski County Election Commission says it received only one absentee ballot by today's deadline - and that person did not vote in the school board race.

That left incumbent Dianne Curry two votes short of the 50% plus one to win the race outright.

So now a runoff election will be held between Curry and challenger Tanya Dixon.

Early voting starts on October 2.
