To tired, did you even read this article it did not say one thing about tax collecters. And to Monroe they did not due sloppy police work I am only going to say this one time they have arrested two people in connections of stealing the credit card. SO peppole you have the right to commit but please make sure it has something to do with the news article. Because it really make's no sense to post something if it don't have nothing todo with the news article.

regard...for the tax collectors really...after all who wants to be a "Tax Collector"these guy's are NOT adam 12 or TJ Hooker they could care less about you....what they do care about is your money...to protect and serve ...what a joke...its a thankless job for a reason...you do a horrible job you don't deserve thanks...you deserve to have you butt fired...what were the officers that responded names...bet you can't get that with the freedom of information act...the whole concept of police in today's society is flawed...don't need new hiring standard's need to choose a good guy at the top and let him or her build a good force don't tye their hands...by forcing them to hire "afirmative action" cops anyhow i'm ranting this morning...seems warranted tho...i'm with Guard God Bless em all...and maybe they'll WAKE UP...

Sherwood residents, remember the incident at a house on 107 a couple of years ago when a man was shot while trying to steal an atv. Police came but did not look for the man , who was found dead by neighbors, the next morning. When confronted with a potential emergency, such as when the streets had to be blocked off during the flash flood this spring, the officer we had to deal with could only be described as panicky. Sherwood officers seen ill equiped to handle anything outside the routine. It could be that they need more training, or maybe a change of leadership is in order. It's just my opinion.

Thank you, FOX16, for staying ON this case. The more information that surfaces, the more questions result. We DO want answers! I have been searching the web each day for updates on this tragedy. My heart just breaks for the family and friends of this woman. It is also a great concern for older (and younger!) single people living alone who just strive to live healthy, active independent lives, making positive contributions to the community. Did she let her guard down? What she attacked while outside the home? Although I have a lot of regard for the Sherwood PD, I am very curious as to how on earth they were not mobilized more quickly when the alarm company contacted them on Monday.

One of the arrested women told police where to find property of Mrs. Cleary and they found her body! How can they not be tied to her murder?

I think all retailers should ask for ID when someone uses a CC. Wal Mart is notorius for not asking for a ID. Had they ask for a ID maybe the lady would have been found sooner. Wake up WalMart!

This is so terrible, but more information about the case might help jog someones memeory, like did the two arrested have her car at Walmart or just her cards? If a alarm went off why did they wait to start looking for her till the next day- what alarm company didn't follow up with her daughter as to her whereabouts right then? Why no details on the third person or cause of death? Seems to be a cold case before cold!

There needs to be a separate investigation. The investigation of the two police officers who responded at the initial call at 4 am and did not even LOOK around the house!!! For cryin' out loud, the woman's garage door was open, her car missing, the door from her garage to her home was open, the bed mattress was off her bed, drawers open - Her ADT Alarm was going off, the woman WAS MISSING !!! WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED???? Where is an 70 something woman going to go at 4 am ??? To the gym to work out ???!!!??? Sherwood police didn't even START their investigation until 12 HOURS LATER !!! Had they put out a call for the missing car, at 4 am, this tragedy MAY have been foiled. These two officers need to be FIRED !!!!!

My heart goes out to this family and if those women didn't murder her, they should still do the time for it. They had to have had something to do with it. There is no telling what this poor woman went through physically and mentally. GOD BLESS
