Well people, I wish I could include a picture of my 'wonderful, holey' SHAMWOW!!! After only 5 months of normal use it practically went to pieces, literally!!! The company will not even acknowledge my requests concerning their 10 yr. guarantee. I quote, "They are so durable that we guarantee your shanmow for 10 yrs". Bull....! Next step-consumers' protection; the principle of the matter.

I think you missed the instruction. You're supposed to wet the shamwow first, wring it, and use it like any towel. You have to wet it first or it will not work. I know the infommercial should show that, but the instruction on the paper enclosed to the package says so.

According to all the "ShamWow" products that I have seen, they leave out a key element. Like duckdrake55 said, you have to wet it and wring it out for it to "draw out" the soda pop. They should take a trip down to Branson, MO and watch the live demonstration at Branson Landing in historic downtown. It puts in all the technical stuff that the commercial leaves out.

Must be much like the 'towel' I use to dry my car after a good wash. You wet it, wring it, wipe, wring and repeat. Works great and didn't cost $20! Some walmart special...
