Deputies arrest 2nd suspect in baseball bat beating

It's not so much as that we are old we just didn't have this kind of stuff happening everyday. My daughter was shot when she was 14 and it's a miracle she's alive. The guy got 3yrs, served 18 mo's. Why ? She wasn't the one he was trying to shoot!!! Now his girlfriend works as a probation officer. He sure looked all spiffed up in court. They had $'s and knew somebody,. I say save our prisons for these kind, perv's,rapists,murderer's and the big drug dealers. They rest could work and pay for the cost of the prisons. Not the taxpayer.

2nd degree battery? Aggravated Assault? That was attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. 1st degree battery at the very least.

I just love how 60+ people are referred to as elderly ... funny i don't feel elderly. Is this my wake up call or what? Well on to my Zumba class.

Every one of these white trash pieces of shemp should be charged with attempted murder. But with our justice system the way it is, they will be offered a plea deal for a lesser charge and only serve a few months of a weak sentence. No justice for the family or the community. I say shoot them all and move on.

This is the kind of goings on that makes my feel good about the neighborhood I live in. We watch each others backs and property. If something doesn't look right we call the police right then. Oh we've had snitch yelled at us as they were loading the trash up. But think. They were doing it on the way to jail. Snitch is a criminals word. Honest people just tell it. A lot need to learn that. I will say this though. The old boy must have been pretty tough. It took four of the gutless wonders to get up enough courage to get on him. Then they had to have a bat. I agree with some that the charges aren't enough. The way to correct this is everyone to call the prosecutors office and tell him. Think about this. Election time is near.

I couldn't agree more. This was a well planned attack with deadly force. This poor old guy will never be the same again. His two compatriots in the video were so astounded at the ferocity of the attack it took them some time to formulate a responce. One grabbed an iron pipe out of his truck which caused the "brave" man with a baseball bat to flee. If this were a guard at Guantanamo beating a convicted terrorist he would probably get life in prison but these two assailants in the video will probably spend a month in jail and be back at their clan meeting next month.

SHouldn't that be attempted murder? Just watched the original video ..... that is INSANE!!!! Know one stepped in to stop it and the family fears retaliation ...... why aren't the other 2 men that were there being charged with anything?????
