PRESCOTT, Ark. (AP) — An Arkansas family has lost two sons to the war in Afghanistan.

Jeremy Wise died in late 2009 working as a defense contractor. His brothers, Ben and Beau, stood in uniform at his memorial.

Two years later, the family had to say goodbye to Ben, who died after being wounded fighting in the same war.

The eldest Wise brothers are two of the thousands of Americans who have died since the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan began.

The youngest brother, Beau Wise, remains in the Marines for now. His mother says the military has assured them he won't be sent into conflict again.
