Police seized thousands of dollars worth of drugs from two towed vehicles, according to reports.
WHITE COUNTY, AR – Police seized thousands of dollars worth of drugs from two towed vehicles, according to reports.

On November 11, 2011 the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force and White County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on two vehicles that had been towed due to a property owner’s request. CADTF Investigators were familiar with vehicles from that area and requested that a WCSO Deputy conduct a canine sniff on the vehicles.

After obtaining a search warrant, officers seized approximately nine pounds of suspected marijuana valued at $9,000, and approximately nine ounces of suspected cocaine valued at $25,200.00 from one of the vehicles. Officers found a hidden compartment in the second vehicle which contained approximately 2 ½ pounds of suspected methamphetamine in the form of ice, which was valued at $113,200 along with $22,000 in U.S. currency.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
