Elderly man dies in Cabot house fire

CABOT, AR - Lonoke County detectives are investigating a house fire that left an elderly man dead on Thursday.

Detective Matt Edwards with the Lonoke County Sheriff's Department says the fire call went out just before 11am at 1674 Sunset Circle south of Cabot.

When crews from the CS & Z volunteer fire department and Cabot Fire Department made entry they discovered an elderly man dead.

Edwards says the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
